- Tyrrells Vat 6 Hunter Pinot Noir 2010. Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. Light, translucent colour. Sour cherry, rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry. Sappy, fresh, live, young. Spice, hints of earthiness. Hint of greenness/herbaceous notes on the nose. Elegant. Didn't know they could do such good pinot in the Hunter Valley... would have assumed it'd be too warm.
- Not to drink alone, good with seafood. Quite acidic, fruit does not shine through like the nz sauv.
- Soft, fruity and mellow with great depth. Very drinkable.
