Earthy mushrooms. A little anise

From Dundee hills, an area known for producing wines with a distinct tinge of Jory soil. Not as flavorful or representative of the terroir, but a noble offering. Perhaps a trite watery and light on aroma, but recognizable as a Dundee hills pinot nonetheless. Acidic, with a note of lemon zest. For the price point, one would be advised to spend an extra six dollars and procure a 2006 pinot of much deeper character.Red Door Cellars Pinot Noir 2009 -
