California Chardonnay barrel fermented. Typical big lush west coast style chardonnay. Lots of tropical fruits on the nose. Pineapple, banana, bit of apricot. Those flavors come through on taste. Nice acidity balances the sweetness. Not a big fan of Cali-style chardonnay. I prefer this grape unoaked where its minerality comes through. Worth the try if this style of chardonnay is up your alley. About US$28 locally in NY.
