Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz Vineyard 2002

Dark, inky color Big Ripe nose, wood, dark fruits, mint, candied cherry, bacon fat, flowers, burnt rubber, can't avoid the heat though, a bit bothering. Perhaps with aging time, the alcohol and tannins can both softened. On the palate, bitter thick tobacco chew gum, fat, juicy, ripe, black currants, dark chocolate, so dark haha. Big, Tannic, full scale, though better on the second day. Hedonistic, but a bit too strong, maybe it's the alcohol. A beast that needs time to settle wow Actually quite good with cheese
