  Kelly Fleming Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2009

  Nose is actually kinda low key, with only cream and sweetness, star fruit?? Close to full bodied. Extremely smooth, very ripe, but not over the top. Sugar coated cherry, orange zest, anise. Super smooth, great structure as always. Syrupy With time and air, nose of black currant, licorice coming out. Super tasty, chewy tannins, no hard edges at all for a young wine. Medium to full bodied Finish is decent, with vanilla note and light tea leaf The high alcohol level is masterfully hidden, brilliant. Slowly, developed iron, mineral nose 3 months ago by Cheung R.

  Le Mont Domaine Huet Vouvray 2010

  Marques De Murrieta Rioja

  Hot rocks, candied licorice and smoky tobacco dominate the upright and focused nose that gains a touch of funk with notes of mouldiness of the earth, flowers, and cocoa, toast, buttery caramel oak notes. In the mouth this is very smooth and easy with the richness to back it up. There is good balancing acid and nice, crisp tannins that give this lean yet ripe wine a refreshing feel up front that turns a bit heavy on the backend that is dominated by drying and astringent tannins. A nice marriage of fruit and wood with nice earthy shale notes offer some cut on the back end and black cherry fruit that lacks a bit of intensity though there is a long finish that has just a hint of leafiness candied/dried peach, cinnamon and braised fennel and orange juice edge.
