Dark ruby red, almost purple color. Complex nose of currants, pencil lead, cassis, cream, violet, got some strong herbaceous scents in the beginning, but with more aeration, it subsided quite a bit, and added dark chocolate, rust. medium plus bodied, note of smoke, earth, black and purple fruits, green pepper, mushroom, though not truly balanced. Very firm, yet dry tannins, not smooth enough mouth feel, lacking the harmony. Finish of smoke, espresso bean and spice. Got a bit warmth in the finish. Few more years in cellar needed it seems.

Opened and drank over the next 3 hours. Very dark ruby color, full bodied, sexy. Fresh oak on the nose, chocolate, fresh grass, mint, vanilla, hint of chili, spices and bacon. Soft on the palate, black currants, sweet berries, a bit oakey, tannic yet overall structure is superb and well balanced. There's a little reservation in the wine, and finish is moderate, 20-30 seconds. The wine evolved brilliantly over the course of the night, gained some weight, and chewy, what a treat.

Sexy, midnight dark color, close to full body, slow yet beautiful tears in the rim. Attractive floral, berries, cream, spice, with a hint of mint and vanilla on the nose, beautiful. Taste of tobacco, crushed sugar, lead pencil, bacon, so rich! Finish last for over 30 sec, brilliant. Strong tannin, yet beautifully balanced, can age and be fantastic over the next 10-15 years! In love with it.
