A Mediterranean-style wine that exhibits all the comfort and warmth you'd get if you were there in person. Hailing from the southern province of Puglia and made with the local 'superstar' grape Negroamaro. This is a very easy drinking red wine, so easy you may wonder how it evaporated so quickly. Had for dinner with dad in celebration of father's day at involtini (2016/07/12)

Rich aromas of ripe fruit and flowers. Round and caressing in the mouth, it is recommended as an apertif and for the entire meal.

Dark, opaque. Good legs, heavy nose. Full nose, leather, dark berries. Heavy bodied, but fruity. Great wine.

Black cherry, blueberries, red plum, dark chocolate, and a touch of leather. Aged in French oak for 15 months. Big, bold, fruity. Lingers long after swallowing.

Heavy, full-bodied Merlot. An intense black cherry colour coats the glass with notes of dark fruits and anise on the nose. This focused red offers taut plum and other dark fruits along with a hint of sage. The Reserve Merlot has been aged for 12 months in French and American oak.

Blend of Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. Soft nose, floral. Bit of a bite initially on the palate. Easy drinking. Really nice.

Blackcurrants, vanilla and chocolate melded with toasty French oak. Rich and weighty with ripe black fruits. Intense varietal expression of Okanagan Merlot leaves a finish that won't end. Juicy with soft and supple tannins. Excellent with burger and fries, as well with stews. Pairs also well with all kinds of cheeses.

Crisp, refreshing, citrusy. Goes nicely with seafood or white meat. Sold to me by the gorgeous Parisian man on Granville Island (Liberty Wine)
