Nice tannen, light jam, some pepper (hooray!) Good with lamb. $10. Even better Day 2. Jam is gone and tannen is more subtle.

$6. Bordeaux: 60% Merlot, 25% Cab Franc, 15% Cab Savignon. Low tannen, a bit thin and earthy (duh, it's mostly Merlot). Improves with aeration. Much smoother Day 2.
