Lost Angel 2009 Ruckus white. A blend of Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Chardonnay. No one varietal jumps out, but the Rhones dominate. Pleasant if uninteresting. 84.

babble 2010 from trader Joe's - a fairly light wine given the color. Immediately accessible if not underwhelming followed by an acid punch. Somehow it all comes together nicely for a daily drinkable wine. 86.

Chronic Cellars. Sofa King Bueno 2010. Big, bright and sweet smelling on the nose. Immediately ripe fruit followed by enough acidity, and ending with medium tannins to create full mouth feel . A big, but well-balanced fruit bomb. 88.

A beautifully deep ruby, almost inky hue. Cherry and mild oak on the nose. Subtle Subtle dark fruit, followed by mild acid and some lingering tannins. A medium bodied, enjoyable wine. Tiny production. 85.

Deep ruby with smoky, earthy aromas. Cherry up front followed by more pronounced oaky notes and light acid. Tannins lightly pronounced on finish. All blends together nicely, but possibly overoaked; not my preferred style. 83.

2011 A by Acacia Pinot. Earthy pinot aroma but bright accessible fruit followed by a long acid feel in the mouth making this thoroughly enjoyable. Not a traditionally light Pinot. 84.
