I didn't like this one as much, the strong cherry and vinegar notes sometimes reminded me of cough syrup.

Paolo Scavino Dolcetto d'Alba 2010
Quite disappointed by this one. If I had to wrap the the experience in a couple words it would be "plum vinegar". I haven't had much luck with italian wines so far however, maybe it's got something to do with this.

For that price, this is a great wine. It smoothly combines acidity and sweetness. -
Arancio Syrah
Starts smooth and sweet and ends up with a bit of acidity. Pretty easy to drink. However, gives my spouse an instant headache.

Smoky and fruity with a bit of spice. Overall pretty light. It's a bit unusual for me but I like it.

Flavorful and quite sweet. I would definitely have it again but it mostly struck me as an aperitif wine.
