Tobacco undertones, heavier complex taste. Very good smell. Bottle was VERY HARD TO OPEN. This Chianti Classico Riserva has acquired generous nobility and distinguished finesse. Ruffino, founded in 1877, has a long, glorified tradition in the cultivation of prestigious vineyards in the Chianti Classico area.
Good wine :) Family owned. Artisan quality. Steep, terraced vineyards on mountains and ridges provide the Ideal environment for our Cabernet Sauvignon to thrive. We use a combination of French and American oak to add different spice nuances as well as fruit from Sonoma County. The result is wine that is rich and round, with wild blackberry, cassis and mocha flavors.
Fruit punch. Barefoot Red Moscato is a juicy and fruity wine with distinct flavors of peaches and Bing cherries. Best served chilled. Pairs well with soft white cheeses, fresh fruits, orange chicken salad, and all spicy fare. Delicious!
No, too alcohol-tasting. Thin, harsh Black cherry, nutmeg, and toasty oak aromas, bright ripe fruit flavors and a velvety smooth lingering finish define the style of this Merlot. Aged in small oak barrels, this Merlot is blended with small amounts of other Bordeaux-style varietals to accentuate its complexity. This wine complements a wide range of foods from seafood to lamb, pork, beef, and cheeses.
Decent cheap red wine. Good for non-winos. Inspired by the "Apotheca", a mysterious place where wine was blended and stored in 13th century Europe, Apothic Red offers a truly unique wine experience. A masterful blend of rich Zinfandel, smooth Merlot, flavorful Syrah, and bold Cabernet Sauvignon creates layers of dark red fruit complimented by hints of vanilla and mocha.
